About This Story

Tonight's story is called The Sleeping Firefly. When the busiest, brightest little firefly in Moonlight Meadow simply cannot make her light settle down for sleep, she flits from flower to flower searching for the one thing that will finally quiet her glow. Along the way she learns that her light was never meant to shine all night long — it was only ever meant to help her find her way home. By the end, tucked beneath a silver dew-petal with her heart full of Alhamdulillah الْحَمْدُ لِلَّه, she discovers that the most peaceful glow of all is the one that comes from a grateful heart resting in Allah اللّٰه's care.
