Children's Privacy

Salaam Sleep is built for families. Children listen together with a parent, so the account belongs to the parent, not the child.

What we know about your child

Just the first name and age band you enter when you set up a profile. The name greets your child in their bedtime ritual and personalises the narration where a story supports it. The age band selects stories that suit them.

What we never do

• We never create accounts for children or ask a child for an email address.
• We never ask a child for personal information inside a story.
• We never show advertising, and there are no third-party ad trackers in the app.
• We never use a child's data to build advertising profiles.

Parent voice recordings

Recordings you make in your own voice are stored privately and can only be played back by your signed-in account. They are removed when you delete them, or when you delete your account.

Your control

Everything about your child is managed from the parent account. You can add or edit a profile, remove a child profile, or delete the entire account and everything in it from Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account.
