ABOUT SALAAM SLEEP

A Better Way to End the Day

Bedtime is more than just the moment children fall asleep.

It is one of the quietest parts of the day — a chance to slow down, spend time together and fill a child's final moments before sleep with something meaningful.

Salaam Sleep was created to make Islamic stories part of that moment.

OUR GOAL IS SIMPLE

To help Muslim families make bedtime calmer, more meaningful and more connected to Islam — one story at a time.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Islamic Stories Made for Bedtime

Salaam Sleep brings together a growing collection of Islamic and family-friendly bedtime stories created especially for young children.

Children can discover stories inspired by:

  • The Prophets
  • The Sahabah
  • Islamic history and values
  • Good character and manners
  • Ramadan and Eid
  • Allah's creation
  • Nature and animals
  • Gentle adventures and bedtime tales

Every story is designed to be enjoyable for children while giving parents something meaningful to bring into their bedtime routine.

This isn't about turning bedtime into another lesson.

It is about helping children enjoy Islam, hear beautiful stories and finish their day with something positive.

MADE FOR LITTLE LISTENERS

Made for Little Listeners

Salaam Sleep is designed primarily for children around 3–8 years old and the parents who share bedtime with them.

The experience is intentionally simple.

  1. 01Choose a story.
  2. 02Get comfortable.
  3. 03Press play.
  4. 04Listen together.

Stories are paired with calming narration and a bedtime-focused listening experience so children can gradually settle down as the story progresses.

No complicated learning system.

No pressure.

Just stories, imagination and a peaceful end to the day.

THE EVENING ROUTINE

More Than Pressing Play

We want Salaam Sleep to become something children look forward to.

That's why the experience goes beyond simply providing an audio library. Families can build bedtime streaks, discover different stories, earn little rewards and make Salaam Sleep part of their evening routine.

A MESSAGE FROM YOU

A Message From You

There is one feature particularly close to what Salaam Sleep is about.

Parents can record their own bedtime message to become part of the listening experience. Near the end of the story, your child can hear your voice before the story gently comes to a close.

It might be as simple as:

"Goodnight. I love you. Sleep well."

Because however good our stories become, a parent's voice will always mean more.

WHY STORIES

Helping Children Build a Connection With Islam

Children remember stories.

They remember characters.

They remember moments that made them wonder, laugh or ask another question.

And when something becomes part of childhood, it can stay with them for years.

Our ambition is for children to grow up remembering evenings spent listening to stories about the Prophets, hearing about good character, discovering the wonders of Allah's creation and enjoying stories rooted in an Islamic environment.

Not because they were forced to sit through a lesson.

Because they wanted to hear another story.

CREATED WITH MUSLIM FAMILIES IN MIND

Created With Muslim Families in Mind

Salaam Sleep isn't trying to replace parents, Islamic education, Qur'an learning or qualified teachers.

It has a much simpler place. Bedtime.

We want to take a routine that already happens every evening and help families make a little more of it.

  • Five minutes.
  • Ten minutes.
  • One story.
  • One conversation.
  • One question from a curious child.

Those small moments can add up to something much bigger.

CONTENT & TRUST

Content Parents Can Feel Comfortable With

We understand that when something is created for Muslim children, parents need to be able to trust what their children are hearing.

We take the responsibility of creating Islamic children's content seriously.

Our stories are created to be:

  • Age-appropriate
  • Family-friendly
  • Respectful of Islam
  • Gentle enough for bedtime
  • Positive in their messages
  • Enjoyable for young children

Where stories involve Islamic history, Prophets or other religious subjects, we aim to treat the subject with care and respect.

If a parent ever believes something should be reviewed, they can report it to us so that we can investigate and make corrections where appropriate. Parents can report a story to us from inside the app.

Salaam Sleep is continually improving, and feedback from parents is an important part of that.
