About This Story

Tonight's story is called Riyaadh and the Path of Good Deeds. When Riyaadh feels too tired and unmotivated to help anyone, he stumbles upon a hidden golden pathway behind his house and finds a strange glowing stone resting among its stones. At first he tries to make the stone shine by doing kind things loudly, hoping everyone will notice — but the stone barely glows at all. It's only when Riyaadh helps someone quietly, expecting nothing back, that the stone blazes with the warmest light he has ever seen. By the end, Riyaadh learns that the best good deeds are the ones done softly, for Allah alone, with no one watching but Him.
