Riyaadh and the Whispering Star

Tonight's story is called Riyaadh and the Whispering Star. Riyaadh is a boy who loves to run, shout, and ask a hundred questions all at once — but out on the Starlight Plains, there is an old star that only whispers its secrets to children who know how to be still. When Riyaadh chases after the star's voice instead of waiting for it, he hears nothing but silence. It's only when he learns to slow his feet, quiet his heart, and truly listen — the way he listens when someone recites Qur'an, or when his mother calls his name — that the star finally speaks. By the end, Riyaadh discovers that some of the most beautiful things in the world, and the wisest words too, can only be heard by a heart that has learned to be calm.
