About This Story

Tonight's story is called Riyaadh and the Lost Salam. When four-year-old Riyaadh visits Salam Village to stay with his grandmother, he notices something strange — nobody greets each other anymore, and the streets feel quiet and cold even in the warm sun. When he discovers that the old bell that used to remind everyone to say "Assalamu alaikum" has gone silent, Riyaadh sets out to find out what happened and how to bring the greeting back. Along the way, he learns that salam is not just a rope and a bell — it's something every person can carry in their own heart and voice. By the end, Riyaadh doesn't just fix the bell — he teaches the whole village that a warm "Assalamu alaikum" is a gift anyone can give, any time, without needing to be reminded at all.
