About This Story

Tonight's story is called Riyaadh and the Helpful Camel. When Riyaadh joins his father's caravan across the desert, he meets Zaytoon, a tired old camel whose little brass bell has gone silent. At first Riyaadh feels much too small to help — he's only four, after all — but as the caravan pushes deeper into the dunes and the wind begins to rise, Riyaadh learns that Allah loves even the smallest kindness offered with a sincere heart. By the end, one gentle act of service — mending a bell — becomes the very sound that guides an entire caravan safely home.
