About This Story

Tonight's story is called The Robin Beneath the Stars. Robin has the busiest wings in Starlight Meadow — always flitting, always fetching, always flying somewhere new before the last task is even finished. But one evening, worn out and cross with himself for forgetting something important, Robin stops beneath the old oak tree and notices a tiny dewdrop glowing on a blade of grass. Inside it, the whole sky is reflected — every star, every soft cloud, all held still and quiet. As Robin learns to slow down and truly look, he discovers that a few still moments of reflection can hold more peace than a hundred busy ones. By the end, Robin drifts to sleep beneath the stars, calm at last, carrying that quiet wonder with him into his dreams.
