About This Story

Tonight's story is called The Dove's Welcome Nest. When a new family of doves arrives in Olive Nest Village with nowhere yet to call home, a little dove feels far too nervous to say hello. He worries he won't know the right words, or that his small nest has nothing special to offer. But with a little courage, a gentle nudge from his grandmother, and the example of the Prophet ﷺ, he learns that welcoming someone doesn't take a grand nest or perfect words — it only takes an open heart. By the end, the little dove discovers that hospitality is one of the sweetest gifts he can give, and one of the sweetest ways to remember Allah اللّٰه.

Alhamdulillah اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰه , little one. That word doesn't mean 'thank you for the exciting things.' It means 'all praise belongs to Allah اللّٰه ' — for everything. The big moments and the small, quiet, ordinary ones too. Sometimes the quiet ones are the sweetest, if we take the time to notice them.
