About This Story

Tonight's story is called Hana and the Little Tea House. When Hana's mother asks her to welcome guests into their tea house all by herself for the very first time, she feels far too nervous to do it right. She worries about crooked cups and a plain table, forgetting that hospitality was never about being perfect. With the help of her grandmother's humming copper teapot, Hana learns that a warm smile and an open door matter more than anything on the table. By the end, Hana welcomes her guests not with a perfect spread, but with a heart wide open — and discovers that Blossom Village's smallest tea house has the biggest welcome of all.
