Tonight's story is called The Dove of Peace Valley. When two families of birds begin quarrelling over who may nest in the valley's great old olive tree, the little dove who lives closest to it grows upset — she has never heard the valley so loud, or so unkind. At first she tries to fix things alone, and it doesn't work. But as she remembers that Allah اللّٰه loves peace, and that one of His beautiful names is As-Salaam السَّلَام, the Source of Peace itself, she learns that peacemaking isn't about being the loudest voice — it's about being the gentlest one. By the end, the little dove carries a fallen silver olive branch between the two families, and Peace Valley finally lives up to its name again.
