The Firefly's Little Light

Tonight's story is called The Firefly's Little Light. When a small firefly named Ember looks around at the meadow full of bigger, brighter fireflies, she starts to believe her own tiny glow doesn't matter at all. She tries to hide it, tucking herself into the grass so nobody will notice how small her light is. But when a lost little cricket needs help finding his way home through a path too narrow for any big light to reach, it's Ember's small, steady glow that saves the day. By the end, as the whole meadow gathers to light the great Meadow Lantern Flower, Ember learns that Allah اللّٰه made every light — big or small — with its own special purpose, and that hers was never too small to matter.
