When Glim wanders off alone to sulk in a quiet corner, he stumbles upon an old grey pebble that nobody ever notices — the Listening Stone. Through the stone's gentle secret and a wise old cricket who lives nearby, Glim learns that Allah اللّٰه gave every creature its own special glow, and that comparing his light to others only makes the cave feel darker. By the end, Glim discovers that his soft, steady light has a purpose all its own, and his little heart glows brighter than ever — not because his light changed, but because his gratitude did.
