About This Story

Tonight's story is called Rayyan and the Golden Moonboat. When five-year-old Rayyan discovers a hidden harbor that only appears under the full moon, he is invited to sail across the water in a little golden boat — all on his own, with no one steering but him. At first the thought of the open water frightens him, but as the boat drifts further from shore, Rayyan learns that he doesn't have to control everything to be safe. By the end, he discovers that trusting Allah اللّٰه with what he cannot see is the surest way to feel peace, even in the middle of the wide, dark sea.
