Tonight's story is called The Starfish of Forgiveness. When a little starfish named Talia is hurt by her best friend's careless words, she curls up tight and decides she will never forgive her again. But as Talia drifts through Peace Lagoon feeling heavier and heavier, she learns that holding onto hurt is like carrying a stone on her heart — and that letting it go, for Allah's اللّٰه sake, is what makes a heart light again. By the end, Talia discovers that forgiveness isn't about pretending nothing happened. It's about choosing peace, the way Allah اللّٰه loves for His servants to choose peace with one another.
