The Hidden Cave of Kindness

Tonight's story is called The Hidden Cave of Kindness. When a shy, hesitant boy named Zayd slips behind a waterfall and discovers a secret cave lit by sleeping crystals, he learns that one crystal has gone almost completely dark. A tiny glowing cave-guide named Nuru tells him the crystal only shines when it feels true kindness happening close by — and right now, it's nearly out of light. Zayd spends the evening trying kind thing after kind thing, worried he isn't doing enough, until he discovers that the smallest, quietest act of kindness — the one nobody even sees — is the one that lights the whole cave. By the end, Zayd learns that kindness done sincerely, for the sake of Allah اللّٰه alone, never goes unnoticed.
