The Crab's Kindness Basket

Tonight's story is called The Crab's Kindness Basket. On sunny Shell Beach lives a little crab who is shy about talking to the other sea creatures but has the biggest heart on the whole shore. When she finds a small woven basket washed up in the sand, she starts using it to quietly help her neighbors — leaving a shell here, a soft sea-sponge pillow there — without ever saying who it was from. At first she worries that kindness doesn't count unless someone sees you do it. But as Shell Beach grows warmer and closer because of her secret gifts, she learns that the sweetest kindness is often the kind nobody sees but Allah اللّٰه. By the end, the little crab isn't hiding anymore — she's smiling, sideways and proud, right out in the open.
