About This Story

Tonight's story is called The Clownfish Who Said Sorry. When a little clownfish loses a swimming race in Coral Village, he says something unkind to his best friend and swims away in a huff — snapping the bracelet his friend had made him right off his fin. He learns that pride can make even a small mistake feel like a mountain too big to climb back down from. By the end, with a little help from his wise grandfather and a lot of soft-hearted courage, he learns that saying "I'm sorry" is not weak at all — it is one of the bravest, kindest things a heart can do, and that Allah اللّٰه loves those who turn back with humility.

Rabbana thalamna anfusana wa-in lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakoonanna mina al-khasireen

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
