The Chinchilla's Little Dua

Tonight's story is called The Chinchilla's Little Dua. When a little chinchilla is asked to sleep for the first time in her very own burrow, just a few hops away from her family, worry curls up in her chest and won't let go. Her grandmother gives her a small silver-grey stone called the Whispering Pebble and teaches her something far more precious than the stone itself — how to whisper her worries to Allah اللّٰه. Through a windy, rustling night alone in the tall silver grass, the little chinchilla learns that a sincere dua doesn't make the dark disappear, but it makes her heart brave enough to rest in it. By the end, she discovers that Allah اللّٰه is always listening, even to the smallest, quietest whisper.
