When Riyaadh joins his grandfather on a journey along the Golden Dune Trail, he is given a small copper cup and told it is for sharing — but Riyaadh finds himself wanting to keep his water all to himself. Along the winding trail, he meets tired travellers who need help, some who ask for it and some who are too proud to. By the end of the journey, Riyaadh learns that real kindness means looking closely enough to notice who is struggling, and giving to them gently, without waiting to be asked and without wanting anything back.
