About This Story

Tonight's story is called A Gift From the Clouds. When six-year-old Fatimah feels too discouraged to recite her favourite surah in front of her class, her heart grows heavy and small. But one night, drifting off to sleep, she finds herself lifted into the Cloud Kingdom — a hidden realm above the clouds where a gentle cloud-bird named Sahab shows her something she never expected: a basket full of encouragement, sent to her by the people who love her most. As Fatimah unfolds note after note, she learns that everyone stumbles sometimes, that Allah اللّٰه never leaves a struggling heart alone, and that hope is a gift meant to be passed on. By the end, Fatimah carries a lighter heart back into her own bed — and a gift of her own to give.
