About This Story
Tonight's story is called The Swan of Tawakkul. When a young swan named Nur learns that her flock must cross the wide open water of Mirror Lake to reach their winter home, she feels frightened of everything she cannot control — the wind, the distance, the dark. Her mother teaches her the meaning of tawakkul: paddling with all her strength while trusting Allah اللّٰه with the rest. Through a windy night crossing and a quiet dua whispered under the stars, Nur discovers that trying her best and trusting Allah اللّٰه together are what carry her safely home. By the end, she learns that peace doesn't come from knowing everything will be easy — it comes from knowing Who is holding her.
