About This Story
Deep in the turquoise waters of Sapphire Shore lives a little starfish named Najma, who is far too shy to join the games and laughter of the other sea creatures. When she finds a frightened hermit crab who has lost his shell home, Najma must decide whether to stay hidden or step forward and help. Along the way she discovers a glowing little shell called the Moonshell, and learns that every time she helps someone, her own heart glows a little brighter too. By the end, when a great tide sweeps through the lagoon at night, it is quiet, shy Najma who guides everyone safely home — and Sapphire Shore learns that kindness doesn't need to be loud to shine the brightest.
