About This Story
Tonight's story is called The Heron of Patience Marsh. When Little Heron keeps missing every fish in the marsh while her friends catch plenty, she grows frustrated and starts rushing, splashing, and giving up too soon. An old, wise egret named Grandmother Egret shows her that the marsh only gives its rarest gift — the glimmering Silver Moonfish — to the bird who can wait with a still heart and trust in Allah اللّٰه. By the end, Little Heron learns that patience is not about doing nothing; it's about waiting with faith, and that Allah اللّٰه's timing is always the best timing.
