Tonight's story is called Riyaadh and the Gift of Patience. When Riyaadh's grandfather gives him a tiny seed and asks him to plant it and wait, Riyaadh is sure it will grow into a flower by morning. But morning comes, and nothing happens — and Riyaadh learns that waiting is hard, especially when you want something wonderful right away. Day by day, as he tends his little patch of soil in Patience Valley, he begins to understand that Allah has His own perfect timing, and that trusting that timing is its own kind of gift. By the end, as the first green shoot finally pushes up through the earth, Riyaadh discovers that the waiting made the flower even more beautiful — and that patience, or sabr, is something Allah loves in His servants.
